Gap launches limited-edition collection with Sarah Jessica Parker


    The all-American retailer Gap announces a new collaboration with everyone’s favourite New Yorker, Sarah Jessica Parker

    Launching in stores 1 March, Gap’s limited-edition collection with Sarah Jessica Parker features an assortment of apparel and accessories for both boys and girls, inspired by the actress’ family heirlooms and outlook on life. The line celebrates love, luck and magic, embracing prints and texture – from gingham and stripe to eyelets – in classic Gap silhouettes.

    “Creating this collection with Gap has been such a treat as a mother, as one of eight children, and as a reconnection with the brand,” says Parker. “I hope the pieces are cherished by the children who wear them, that items are passed down among generations, and that some great memories are created while wearing them.”


    Capturing the nostalgia of well-loved, storied pieces, Sarah Jessica hopes the pieces will be passed from child to child, with each item featuring ‘property of’ tags for that sense of ownership and history. Embroidered rabbits – considered a superstitious animal – pop up amongst the clothes for that extra bit of luck. Toddler and kids sizes are available, with two women’s dresses also part of the line – perfect for a bit of ‘twinning’. Available online and in selected stores, with prices starting at £10.95.
