Five unique events in the capital to keep your little ones busy this weekend
1. Time Tunnellers
Get your hard hats on and your trowels ready as the Museum of London Docklands takes you on a journey to become an archaeologist. This interactive family show will help mini explorers piece together the capital’s history. Be sure to book in advance so you don’t miss out.

London will be taken over by the Romans this summer, in a three-month celebration of the capital’s Roman heritage. Exciting family events will include drawing workshops and object handling at the Museum of London, art and archaeology at the Guildhall Art Gallery, and storytelling at Shoe Lane Library. THe programme is being run by the City of London.

3. The Hunting of the Snark
Enter the imaginative world of Lewis Carroll in this new adaptation of his classic poem. With life-like puppets and lashings of humour, the story follows a riotous gang of bold adventurers as they set off on a quest to catch the Snark.
