New Brands on the Block

Frankly, we’re a bit jealous of how much fun these two are having. Sure, it might be the Venice Beach sunshine but our money’s on the fact that they are wearing ABC123Me, the new brand strictly for boys. The clothing is specially designed to be fuss free, itch free, super soft and, most importantly, totally fun proof. These are durable clothes for adventurous boys and with brown Kraft block bottom bags carrying their products and collaborations with cult skateboard photographer ASmith, this is one of the coolest new brands around.

Its unique curatorial approach to fashion has been an ongoing and game-changing presence in the backstreets of east London since 2007, and now Goodhood Store has launched a new 3,000 square feet flagship store in Shoreditch. Continuing its staunch appreciation for niche brands and eternally stylish dressing, Goodhood is also a go-to destination for the very coolest kidswear. Head over to its new two-storey store, and not just to sample their new Brett Redman-partnered café, Commune, but to pick up the latest from Comme des Garçons Play, Mini Rodini, Vans, Bobo Choses and more.

Introducing Five Boys Clothing, your new one-stop-shop for boys-only clothing. Mums Taffeta and Sophia, friends for 22 years and with five boys between them, created the brand after discovering a dearth of shopping destinations for their children. Five Boys Clothing was born, an online collection stocking style savvy brands such as Ruff and Huddle, Veja and Alphabet Soup.

Balloon Copenhagen launched last year, and is an antidote to the garish side of childrenswear, with soft shades and delicate designs characterised by gentle playfulness and typical Scandinavian functionality. Its adorable collection includes sweet and dotty separates and woven cotton bed linen as well as covetable sweaters bearing the brand’s signature balloon motif. The brand celebrated its first birthday this year and will soon be expanding the collection with new styles and colours for spring. We love the breezy, classic style – providing the perfect capsule wardrobe for your Little Londoner.

Since its launch in 2003, award-winning Danish childrenswear brand Molo has gone from strength to strength, expanding to include boys’ and girls’ outerwear up to 12 years and also catering for the tiniest of tots in their newborn to two years range. The brand has taken a whimsical approach to its S/S 15 collection, with bold shapes and graphic prints combined with the signature hipster and urban sportswear looks.
