    Valentine’s Animals
    Enjoy a day at Battersea Park Zoo and show the animals some Valentine’s love. Help the keepers prepare to feed the animals, and enjoy a fun family day out.

    Family Day: Myths and Legends
    Trot up to Hampstead and visit Keats House for the very best in fairies, heroes and monsters. Dare your littles to inventing a myth of their very own, and inspire them to hit the bookcases when you get home.

    Nature Explorers: Make a natural lip balm
    Let your little try their hand at making a lipbalm at the Horniman Museum. It’s the perfect activity to combine a little learning with a project you can take away take.

    Nature Explorers: Winter Art
    Get your littles outside in Hyde Park for a day of outdoors games. Armed with magnifying glasses, children can explore the wintery goodness of Hyde Park, and have the opportunity to create habitats for mini-beasts that live in the park. A good day of muddy fun!

    Vintage cars at Brooklands
    Let your little experience the need for speed and and race around Brooklands famous track in a vintage-style car. Bertie the Brooklands Bear will be making a guest appearance, so watch out for him as you speed up Test Hill! Get your vintage goggles on, it’s going to be a windy one!

    A Tourist’s Guide to Victorian Tourism
    Travel back to Victoriana with the Ragged School Museum and learn about how tourists enjoyed London way back when – from penny farthing rides in Hyde Park to the opening of the zoological gardens. Fun for all the family!

    Get icing with Biscuiteers

    The Discover Children’s Story Centre in Stratford is holding a whole week of Roald Dahl fun. Explore the best-loved children’s author’s best work with a variety of events that range from storytime to craft workshops, to illustrator visits. There’s something for every Roald Dahl fan, and more.

    Bricks in the Sky
    Take a look at your favourite landmarks from another point of view – this time, they’re all made out of LEGO®! Enjoy a beautiful view across London from the top of the ArcelorMittal Orbit on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and check out all the LEGO miniatures – from the iconic London bus to Big Ben and The 02. Get your littles involved with the stash of bricks on hand to play with and see what they can build!

    Shadow puppet cinema at the London Transport Museum
    Help your littles understand how cinema came to be at the London transport museum. Their shadow puppet cinema is on all week and is perfect for budding directors!

    Things to do out of London…

    Half term needn’t be time to stay in town, so venture outside the capital and take in the best of the National Trust. It is, after all, the best in beauty nationwide. We love it, and we bet you do too.


    Bird Detectives
    There’s plenty to poke around at the beautiful Fountains Abbey, from the huge ruins of the medieval abbey to the beauty of the water garden and trees and trials in the deer park. You too can be a bird detective – see how many species you can spot from the bird hide. Just make sure your write them down and take pictures so you canshow your friends!

    Wild animal tracking
    Foxes and badgers and deer, oh my! All of these animals live in Sheringham Park but it’s sometimes hard to find them. Take your little on an adventure to see how many them can spot.
