Luckley House School, the co-educational senior day and boarding school in Wokingham, Berkshire, has launched a new weekly boarding package for London families who are after an exciting alternative to London day schools

Weekly boarding at Luckley House School offers busy families the best of both worlds; a high achieving, stimulating education in semi-rural Royal Berkshire, balanced with weekend family life back in the city. Boarding life encourages young people to develop qualities such as independence, tolerance and self-discipline, forming life-long friendships on the way. Co-curricular activities and homework take place in school during the week, leaving the weekend free for quality family time.

With the academic needs and overall welfare of every child a key ethos, Luckley House School provides an education that ensures success in all areas of the curriculum and co-curricular programme. All academic departments are strong, as are the arts and sports subjects, believing that flexibility and choice is vital to ensure each child receives the education that’s right for them. Combined with a wide range of co-curricular opportunities including Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, Combined Cadet Force, horse riding, climbing, a range of games and sports, arts and crafts, computing and engineering clubs, science clubs, drama and debating – need we go on – a Luckley education is both challenging and enriching in equal parts.
