Caramel’s rather fashionable garden party
Caramel previewed its custom-made collection for SS18 in the most English of ways – at a garden party!
Could we love Caramel any more? Last week, tucked away in the gardens of St Mary The Boltons, the fashion label held a summer party, complete with pony rides, coconut shys and a very special fashion show. Colourful streamers lined the makeshift catwalk, whilst guests young and old tucked into popcorn and tubs of strawberries and cream as they waited for the show to begin. Showcasing the children’s clothing for SS18 – Caramel’s first capsule custom-made collection – the young models glided down the hessian catwalk, whilst an acoustic set played on in the background. Pieces crafted from layers of organza, silk and lace mingled amongst pretty pastel shades and limited edition pieces. Some of the girls boasted impressive floral headpieces and hair accessories, with the boys in straw sun hats. Alas, as always with fashion shows, it’ll be another year until you can get your hands on the gorgeous pieces, so we suggest you start your wishlist now…!
