Chinese New Year Celebrations

    CHINESE-NEW-YEAR-3

Pop along with your little ones to Chinatown and stand in awe as you join in with London’s biggest and brightest Chinese New Year celebrations.

The 19th may be the official day, but it’s on Sunday that the party really gets going. More than half a million people will descend on London’s West End to celebrate the Chinese New Year of the Goat in a blaze of colour. The festivities, the largest outside Asia, will start at 10am with a parade from Duncannon Street to Shaftesbury Avenue, and the celebrations go on all day with more entertainment in Trafalgar Square, offering revellers a feast of Chinese culture, including a gravity defying lion dance and spectacular fireworks.

Admission is free so get down there on Sunday 22 February | london.gov.uk/get-involved
