Christmas trees that do good

December is almost upon us and, with it, the start of the festive season. Have you thought about where you’ll get your Christmas tree this year?

London’s Christmas Forest has been providing Londoners with beautiful trees for the past 17 years. With 10 pop-ups across the capital, and a number of varieties and sizes on offer – from scented to non-drop – there’s something for every family. You’ll have the opportunity to touch and smell each tree to make sure you pick the right one for you, with tree experts on hand to help.  Once you’ve decided on the one, helpful elves will carry it to your car (each pop-up has plenty of parking) or arrange a home delivery for you. Additionally, you can rest assured; every single tree has been farmed sustainably, with most grown in the UK to reduce ‘tree miles’.

What’s more, the company works with Tree Aid, ensuring each tree purchased equals a tree planted in Sub-Saharan Africa, helping local families to create a source of income. These trees provide poverty-stricken communities with nourishment and livelihoods.

The pop-ups are scattered across London, from Dulwich in the south to Stoke Newington in the north, so there’s sure to be one near you. Take a look at The Christmas Forest website for more details.
