This Easter head over to Old Spitalfields Market for FAM EAST – a three-day family social featuring creative workshops, a pop-up market and London’s finest street food.
Let’s not beat around the bush, the school holidays can be a stressful experience. Particularly when you have big and little kids to contend with. But, if you’re wondering how to keep your brood entertained this Easter, look no further than FAM EAST. A three-day Easter eggstravaganza at Old Spitalfields Market in London’s east end.
Running from 15 – 17 April, FAM EAST is tackling the second week of the Easter holidays head-on. From creative workshops, a family-friendly pop-up market and some of London’s finest street food sellers, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
On the market floor, visitors can shop over 30 stalls housing family-focused, independent or just plain brilliant brands, along with drop-in kids’ craft stations and face painting.
Meanwhile, on the market’s mezzanine, the free play space will offer smaller children a place to burn off energy, while the workshop space hosts bookable creative sessions for children aged 2 – 16 years old.
Plus, the whole crew can feast on London’s best street food at one of the market’s 10 kitchens or 20+ street food traders and the surrounding restaurants.
Each day’s schedule ends with a pleasingly retro and totally free mini disco from 4 – 5pm.
Workshops and activities include:
- Art Club: Create a Frida Khalo-inspired Artwork
- Puppet workshop
- Art-inspired face painting
- Art Club: Create an Andy Warhol-inspired Artwork
- Skate Deck Illustration Workshop
