Family entertainment reaches new heights

    Rooftop1

To celebrate its fourth year at Roof East in Stratford, the creators of the Rooftop Film Club are making all of our summer entertainment dreams come true, with its bigger-and-better-than-ever Social Fun & Games Club

From Thursday 4 May, families in the capital can watch the sun set over the Olympic Park and enjoy unrivalled views of the London skyline all the while enjoying a host of fun activities and dining on some of the finest street food around.

New features this year include the Rooftop Rollers roller disco, which welcomes adults and children of all ages to get down to some ’80s classics from just £8 each, as well as the De La Bowl – a hip-hop inspired lawn bowls experience (yes, you heard that right) and Sluggers’ custom-built baseball batting nets. The club also sees the return of crazy golf and, of course, the Rooftop Film Club, where you can pull up a deckchair and enjoy a whole host of films over the coming months. On Thursday 4 May, Mary Poppins will be showing – with more family favourites set to appear over the summer.

And the best bit? You don’t even need to buy a ticket. Head up to the Social Fun & Games Club to sip on a sundowner, enjoy the view and make the most of the evening sunshine with no entrance fee.
