Fare Healthy: Food, fitness and wellbeing for the whole family
The UK’s original food, fitness and wellbeing festival returns for another year at London’s Truman Brewery, Shoreditch
Had one too many (tubs of) Quality Street this festive season? Don’t worry, Fare Healthy is back this February to get you and your family back on track for the new year, and this time it introduces its new Kids’ Zone, filled with activities to inspire your little ones.
The main stage, which seats up to 200, will play host to a number of talks, discussion panels and cookery demonstrations from the likes of TV chefs and baby-weaning experts, the Chiappa sisters; Hillary Graves, founder of Little Dish foods; Frame fitness and Mumhood founder Pip Black, and Little London contributors Leonora Bamford of My Baba, and Georgie Soskin and Jo Saunders of Cooking Them Healthy.
Hosted by TV presenter Melanie Sykes, the festival will also bring back its inspiring ‘Mum’s The Word’ talks for parents – chatting about the highs and lows of juggling your own business with motherhood.
The Kids’ Zone will feature talks, demos and classes for mamas and little ones, and elsewhere you’ll have the chance to chat to nutritionists, chefs, bloggers and fitness instructors. For those looking for a more active experience, try your hand at the series of exercise classes, including ballet barre with Naturally Sassy, or yoga with Anna Clarke of Mind, Body, Bowl. Finally, the feel-good festival will house shops, food stands and more from brands such as Lulumon, Daylesford, Rude Health, Rebel Kitchen and Pearl & Groove to name a few.
