There’s nothing little ones love more than sleepovers – except maybe Christmas! The Museum of London are offering you the chance to join them for a special sleepover for an evening of festivities and fun.
Grab your sleeping bag and find out what happens in the museum at night and how the magic comes to life! You’ll learn all about how different Londoners celebrated the Christmas season in the past and meet historical characters to tell you first hand!
There’ll be hands-on and interactive activities inspired by our ancestors Christmas celebrations on a journey through time, starting with the Romans and finishing with the Victorians…

Fantastical Feasting
Rich Medieval and Tudor men and women would feast fantastically at Christmas time. Create a feast fit for a king with an art workshop.
Christmas with the Victorians
Grab a torch and venture into our traditional Victorian walk gallery. A mysterious character will help you on your quest. Will you be the first solve our Christmas mystery? Plus get to know the Victorians with traditional Victorian parlour games.
You’ll then bed down in the museum for lights out at midnight, before a bright and early breakfast the next day. Breakfast, morning tea and coffee are all included. Storage for belongings will be provided for those who want to continue visiting the museum when it opens at 10am.
So pack your toothbrush and head down to The Museum of London for a night of mischief and magic!
