The characters from hit TV series PAW Patrol have made their way onto the big screen, launching at Vue Piccadilly with some very special guests
PAW Patrol, the hugely popular animated show on Nick Jr., has made its way onto the big screen with the release of six new back-to-back episodes in PAW Patrol: Big Screen Takeover.
London’s Vue Piccadilly hosted an advanced VIP screening of the new release and brought the popular characters to life by inviting six very special guests. ‘Marshall’ the Dalmatian, ‘Chase’ the German Shepherd, ‘Zuma’ the chocolate Labrador, ‘Skye’ the cockapoo, ‘Rubble’ the English Bulldog and ‘Rocky’ the mixed-breed mongrel joined little watchers on the front row to take in the new adventures of their on-screen counterparts.
For those of you who might be new to the hit American show, it focuses on a boy named Ryder who leads a pack of serach and rescue dogs known the PAW Patrol. They work together on missions to protect the shoreside community of Adventure Bay. Each dog has a specific set of skills based on a real-life profession, such as a firefighter and police officer. The new never-seen-before adventures include saving an underground chicken, a cat burglar and the kitty rescue crew.
Launched five years ago, the ever-popular show has produced tons of related merchandise – from soft toys and clothing to toys and even furniture. And for the biggest of fans, there’s PAW Patrol Live!; a touring stage show that really does bring the show to life.
You can catch the big screen adaptation at Vue cinemas from the 19 – 28 October. Check the website for your nearest cinema.
