Peppa Pig’s Discovery Playroom Opens at The Natural History Museum
Hasbro, Inc., a toy and game company, and the Natural History Museum have joined forces to transform one of the Museum’s shops into a Peppa Pig playroom to help little ones learn about the planet.
From Friday 4th August to 10th September, visitors can play with Peppa Pig and her brother George in the heart of the Museum and learn about their love for the planet – a perfect summer holiday activity!
Children can discover why dinosaurs are George’s favourite animals, choose a book to read with Peppa, get creative with themed colouring and activity sheets, draw their own roar-some dinosaur in the craft zone, and relax with their favourite episodes of Peppa Pig.
Meet Peppa Pig and her family every Monday, along with other interactive events planned throughout the Discovery Playroom’s run, is sure to delight fans. Every Wednesday throughout the summer holidays, visitors can listen to storyteller Lucy Walters read some of her favourite Peppa Pig stories in three separate sessions.
A variety of Peppa Pig-themed products will be available for fans to purchase and take home. Peppa Pig Pots will be a hit with the whole family, as they encourage children to plant and nurture easy-to-grow seeds.
Other highlight products include the Peppa Pig Wooden Family Figures – made with FCS certified wood – beloved Peppa Pig story books, including ‘Peppa Loves our Planet’, and Peppa Pig-themed clothing.

Peppa Pig’s Discovery Playroom is located within the Museum’s main shop, by Hintze Hall.
