Things to consider

The seat only faces the front

Seat Though seat only faces the front, it does have three recline positions, and the lowest is completely flat, so it is suitable from birth. You can, however, snap either the carrycot or the car seat onto the chassis facing you. Inside the padded seat there’s a five point harness and a padded bumper bar. The hood features useful storage pockets for little items like your keys and purse and these pockets are also found on the carrycot’s hood. The carrycot can be used from birth up to around six months and features a removable, washable mattress cover.

Chassis Because it’s so light, this is easy to steer and nice and light. The chassis folds easily and compactly though you do need both hands when folding, which can be tricky if you’re holding your baby at the same time.

Wheels  Fairly small wheels mean that going completely off road is not as comfortable as it could be but they are more than adequate for around town and the odd country walk. The front wheels can be locked in place or swivel for taking tight corners.

Extras The infant car seat clicks straight onto the chassis without the need for adaptors, is well padded, and has side impact panels to keep your little one safe in the car. You get a cosy toes and changing bag as well as the seat, carrycot and car seat, so it’s a good package.

Hauck Apollo Review – Our Editor’s verdict:

As you get everything you need with this pushchair package, it’s great value for money but doesn’t have the functionality of some pushchairs.
