Things to consider

The seat is a little tricky to get a wriggling child into, extras push up the cost.

Seat Suitable from six months, the seat is moulded and nicely padded and you can use it from birth although you can add either a Foldable or standard carrycot for the first four to six months to let your baby lie completely flat. With an unusual T-shaped safety bar, you may find it tricky to get a wriggling toddler into it but the seat face the front or the rear and reclines easily with one hand into three positions facing the front, two when facing the parent. The covers can be taken off for washing and it has an adjustable, padded harness and an adjustable handle and footrest.

Chassis The most stunning thing about this pushchair is the pneumatic opening system. Just unclip the hook at the side and it opens up all on its own. Folding is easy too, you just have to push two buttons on the handle, push the handle forwards and the pushchair collapses simply and locks together. Choose from a chassis in black or white. It has good suspension and

Wheels  It has very large back wheels and a much smaller double front wheel that can be locked or can swivel for getting round tight corners. They can all be removed for more compact storage.

Extras A Maxi-Cosi car seat can be added using adaptors and you can also add a foldable carrycot. It comes with a sun canopy, raincover, airpump, shopping basket, parasol clip and adapters for the foldable carrycot and car seat.

Quinny Moodd Pushchair Review – Our Editor’s verdict

We love the fact that all parts to adjust the pushchair – recline, fold button and seat releases – are in a different colour to the chassis, so easy to see. Modern and stylish, it is quite large and wider at the back than the front, so allow for this and make sure it suits your home and car. Good for using on stairs as the rear wheels are large with no bit sticking out.
