Finding ways to keep the kids entertained throughout the entirety of the long summer holidays is always a tricky task, and as we reach the end of the school break you may be all out of ideas. Luckily, there’s a new interactive entertainment experience in town to help you score a last-minute winner. TOCA Social, a new interactive football and dining experience, combining immersive gaming and world class food and drink, has opened at London’s O2.
Following a summer when the whole country went a little bit football mad, this latest interactive experience themed around the beautiful game couldn’t have come at a better time. With a selection of four interactive games, to please both football lovers and novices alike, you’ll soon have your own squad of mini Rashfords and Kanes to manage. Whether it’s a birthday party or a family outing, kick things off with a friendly game of Striker before amping up the competition with a tournament of all four immersive games. Each game has the option of varying difficulty levels to choose from, meaning no one will be left on the bench.
For the Grown Ups
It’s not just the allure of tiring out the little ones that brings parents to TOCA social, but there’s plenty for the grown-ups to enjoy too. If it’s a night away from the kids – or you’ve managed to steal time away from the sidelines – head to the Midfield Bar for a selection of football-themed cocktails and delicious Americana-inspired dishes, cooked up my a Michelin trained chef. With 17 immersive pitches, three world class bars, two selfie booths, a dessert room and a bathtub in the main area there’s something to keep the whole family entertained, well into extra time.
Getting to TOCA Social
Jump on the jubilee line and exit at North Greenwich, you’ll find TOCA at Greenwich Peninsula, housed in London’s O2 and surrounded by all manner of eateries and other activities to enjoy.
For more information and to book your slot head to toca.social . Boxes are booked based on an hourly rate, starting at £35 at off-peak times.
