1. Open Garden Squares Weekend
Around 200 gardens take part in this each year, with many activities aimed at families. There’s real variety – from traditional squares to contemporary rooftop gardens, not to mention museums, schools and allotments.
When: Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th June
How much: £14 each; under-12’s go free. One ticket gains access to all gardens.

2. West End Live
Theatre fans will love the line-up of shows and musicals. Visitors can also participate in family activities and explore exhibits from some of London’s most popular museums.

3. The Gherkin Challenge
The NSPCC is calling on families to take their fundraising to new heights by climbing The Gherkin’s 39 floors. You’ll be rewarded with a glass of champagne (or juice!) once you reach the top, plus the spectacular 360 degree views across London.
