Here’s three ways to celebrate the long bank holiday weekend with the kids

1. Funharmonics: All aboard the LPO
Get ready to be whisked away with the London Philharmonic Orchestra on a journey around the world, from Vienna to New York, in London’s Royal Festival Hall. Arrive an hour beforehand for hands-on science fun and have-a-go instruments in the foyer. Aimed at little ones aged six and over, but family members of all ages are welcome.

2. IWA Canalway Cavalcade
Take the kids to see the colourful narrowboats adorned with flowers and bunting for this annual celebration. The three-day party offers varied attractions, including shows, music and boat trips. There are also stalls, Morris dancers, food and plenty of real ale for the grown-ups, too.

3. Celebrity Dusty Duck trail
Aardman Studios designed Dusty Duck to celebrate WWT’s 70th anniversary and this Easter, Dusty, along with 14 other celebrity-designed Dustys, will be on show at the London centre.
