1. Big Fish Little Fish Jingle Bell Rave

2. Santa & His Huskies

Where better to really get a feel for winter than at London’s own nature reserve, where you can meet Father Christmas and his huskies? The friendly dogs are working animals, so younger children can experience a thrilling husky sleigh ride, then meet Santa in his cosy log cabin.

3. Horniman Christmas Fair

Enjoy family art activities, shop for gifts in the arts and crafts markets, pick up your seasonal produce at the farmers’ market on Saturday and enjoy mince pies, mulled wine and carols on the bandstand on Sunday. There’s no better way to get in the Christmas spirit. And when you’re done, why not explore the fantastic museum?
